Renowned for its magical taping abilities the world over, though not yet famous for its commanding strength, Scotch brand tape came to BAKER looking to bolster the brand’s hefty holding credibility, particularly in the aisles of home improvement stores. Harnessing the power of their proprietary plaid in a mighty metallic finish gave the new MOUNT segment a burly breath of audacious authority while a backer card remarkably reminiscent of brawny barbells added weight to the new sub-brand’s stalwart status. Finally, the use of highly effective, high-contrast colors was enlisted to do the last bit of heavy lifting – segmenting the line with clear usage occasions.
