In celebration of their 50th anniversary making industry leading window films, 3M approached BAKER with an exciting opportunity to develop a series of B2B and B2C ads aimed at building brand awareness. It turns out after 50 years as the category captain, hardly anybody even knew they existed. Which you might think is a bad thing… but is it?
We helped them turn what seemed like a negative into a positive. After all, when you make window films for a living you should be happy when people look right through you – not being noticed is exactly what you intended all along. It turns out they’d been practicing total transparency long before it was the latest buzzword in the boardroom. They were technological trendsetters who just needed a little help marketing their own merits.
